i am looking for a new PSU to power my new upgrades that is cheap but wont blow up on me, when i get the new parts my setup will be:

Asus P5N-E SLI Motherboard
Core 2 Duo E6300
2GB GeiL PC6400 DDR2
GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB
Arctic Cooler 7

i dont mind stretching to 60 if its worth it.

i have got a 460 wt akasa power supply and it is fantastic but i am unsure of the higher wt ones. Corsair power supplys are supposed to be great

Avoid the Hiper. Stretch for the Corsair if you can, it should last you a while with the warranty. If not the other makes seem much of muchness.

Have to agree with last 2 posters :)

PSU is a very important investment, IMO as important as picking a GFX. It can make or break a good build/rig & don't forget can last you several upgrades over ;)
