Good PSU?

This is on behalf of my cousin in Australia, so no point recommending anything on OcUK!


Anyway, he asked me whether the Corsair CX500 500W PSU was any good.

It all looks good and being from Corsair and all.. Just wanted your opinion really

If his GPU isn't too powerful then yes. Corsair make fantastic PSU's and often go way above what they are rated to.

He means it depends what it's powering...but for those uses I imagine you won't be running crosfire or SLI

No, most likely just use the onboard graphics card.
