I have looked on the place with all the trees and they all seem to be cheap chinese imports - bought one before and had issues after 6 months of use. OC don't appear to sell any KVM switches. Are there any good quality suppliers worth looking at? Just need to connect Desktop and Laptop to same USB devices and monitor.

Thanks, will check out both brands. I don't mind paying a bit more if it works well. It's pretty annoying when switching between devices for feeds not to get picked up.

Might seem a random question but have you checked if your monitor has a kvm feature, a fair few seem to have built in kvm's these days.

Depending on how often you want to switch screens another option to kvm is just have a second display input connected to the laptop and then use some software like logitech flow or microsoft borderless mouse to control the keyboard/mouse side of things (might need both devices on all the time though). You're just changing input for the display.

If you've got a logitech setup you could go even simpler and just use their 'switch device' buttons and a second dongle/bluetooth for the keyboard/mouse...
Yeah it doesn't unfortunately.
