Just for browsing and general applications use.

I don't game using a mouse. Well, I do game, but Iracing on my sim rig.

My 14 year old Logitech mouse is intermittently starting to double click when I only want a single click. Oh well, 14 years ain't bad.

I imagine there are some high fallutin', all singing, all dancing gaming mice out there these days. I don't need one of those. Just a nice simple high quality mouse to do some browsing and operate applications on my PC.

Rechargeable is fine but I have a bad habit of not charging the mouse up then suffer the consequences of having a completely dud mouse battery. So Ideally one that has the option to replace the battery instantly.

A nice good quality one would be ideal. Budget up to £50 say?

Can anyone advise, please?

Logitech MX Master series is what I would suggest.

I have the MX Master 2S and it’s great. Battery lasts for absolutely ages and is rechargeable.

Failing that any other Logitech mouse that takes your fancy :)

Thank you for the suggestion Philitor. They look nice but i'm looking for something with a replaceable battery. AA or AAA. My forward planning regards charging is woeful :)

Logitech M720 Triathlon. Have one at work and honestly the best mouse I've used. AA battery lasts ages

I use the zalman ZM-GM7. Their mice are (much) higher quality than SteelSeries. They also have a good design, which is not typical for Logitech.

Been using a logitech G703 for years, good mouse.

I agree. The mouse is so good when my first one decided to break I bought the exact same mouse again a few months ago. Only downside to logitech I have noticed is the scroll wheel tends to break easily, had two of them now where the scrollwheel infinitely spins.

Logitech have always been my go-to, I've tried so many different brands/variations over the years and always end up going back despite the plap software.

I tend to use "gaming" mice for work related tasks as a lot of what I do is from home, so it ends up being multipurpose related. That said, I know a few who use the G703 and love it as mentioned by others above, but to throw into the mix I've a couple of ex-colleagues I still talk with who absolutely love the MX Vertical which is currently on some pretty deep sales. I've ordered one myself simply due to wrist/arm issues and the positioning of it, with some luck it'll help but by that nature it might also stave off some of the common long term computer issues people can develop too.

I use the logitech g502 x plus, was very weiry of wireless but I'm more than happy with it as long as you turn off the rgb the charge can last a few weeks and I play every day,had a weird clicking on the left click, contacted logitech and they sent me out a new one without sending the old one back.

i use a hp 435 wireless mouse on my work pc, and home apps PC, has bluetooth and a wireless dongle. and they are free for me out of the IT vending machine

Have you got a 'big box' store locally that might have a few out on display? A mouse is such a personal thing that you won't know what you like best until you've got your hands on a few

My last regular mouse was a g502 and whilst good I couldn't get on with it.

I've just bought a Delux M600 and I have to say so far it's been the best mouse ever, smooth and very accurate and the stick on grips helps a lot.

It's certainly made a difference to my bf6 gaming, I'm actually doing alright for once.
