Can anyone recommend any brands/ranges of some good quality lino for a bathroom? Ideally want something that is reasonably thick and comfy underfoot.

Would normally look at tiles but think they are cold underfoot so thinking a good quality lino might be the best instead as our bathroom is only small so wouldn't need a big area covered.

Used it my bathroom,

I put some plywood down on above the floorboards then fitted the Rhino floor and run a bead of silicon around the edges.

Its not cold to walk on at all, nice and firm(ish) to step on, a little bit grippy super easy to clean, looks good.

Will never use anything else in the bathroom tbh. Thought about putting it in the kitchen but went with Kardean instead.

I also have Rhino vinyl flooring in my downstairs toilet and find it great. Laid it about 4 years ago and considering the amount of foot traffic, bumps and scrapes it's had from my toddler through the years it still looks in fantastic condition. I bought a nice thick cushioned version as it was going directly on a concrete sub floor and it's warm and comfortable underfoot.

Thanks for sharing. Have you any idea what the specific range was that you went for? Did you order it online or did you have a local stockist near? I think i'll need too see (or send off) for some samples to get an idea!

I put down luxury vinyl planks in my living room last year, on top of the old wood floor with only that very thin foam underlay to take up any minor imperfections. Feels great underfoot especially barefoot; feels warm and soft even though it's extremely hard wearing. We're getting a new master bathroom suite with new tiling etc, once again I'll be putting down luxury vinyl flooring, you can get them in tiles for bathrooms, stone effect etc. Also, the brand I used in the living room stated that no expansion gap was needed and it's been great over the warm summer and into this cold snap, no separation or bumps.

Range was called 'Rhino Piazza Oak White'. Product code: 377001970300.

I've done a quick google search but can't find any matches, so it may be a discontinued line now. I ordered it online from Carpetright.

(Reboot) BATHROOM ALTERNATIVE TO VINYL - AQUA-STEP ?

parents are doing a bathroom refit and currently have vinyl, but have been recommended planked aqua-step
is it any good/good-value ? @ ~£40sq/m, or stick with Rhino ?

they say it is waterproof, without dirt ingress at gaps, and hopefully, it is no more sliippery than vinyl either.

Have a look at Moduleo click vinyl tiles. We had these in the kitchen and bathroom in our last house and they were brilliant. The click tiles are laid as you would laminate flooring but are completely waterproof. Much preferred this to the ceramic tiles we’ve got in the new place.
