I had a quick scan of the forum and couldn't find a relevant sub-forum to post this in (sorry if there is though).

I am looking for a reliable, good quality and above all cheap TS3 host for me and a group of friends. It seems that most game server companies host TS3 servers, but I'm not to sure if they are reliable or not and are good quality.

If anyone here hosts or has hosted a TS3 server with a good, reliable and cheap host, would you mind posting them here, I'm getting confused in the hundreds of companies that offer them.

Thanks for the help.

To be honest with you, something as simple as a TS3 server, you can't go wrong with any company. Over the years I've used Multiplay, gamehost, Dust, gameservers, Killer Creations, Alpha Networks. All of which I've never had a problem with. You're best off going with whichever provider can host near you for a reasonable deal - but VOIP servers hardly break the bank anyway!

Thanks for the reply, i see what you mean I'll probably try this. yeah i know what you mean about they don't but ill probably go for full 12 month rental so didn't wanna just throw 20+ down the drain.

Thanks for the help

I have had my vent server with multiplay it does have problems from time to time and I would change companys but I dont want to be explaing how to change i[ ect to everyone who comes on and then have to make them all accounts again as nobody ever remembers there vent passwords.

They are american yes, but it's still a very good quality service, I rent one and that's in Atlanta and get <100 ping. No problems with downtime etc, and if there is any problems they will email you prior.

I first rented from

https://www.darkstarllc.com/teamspeak-servers

and had a 10-slot server in their London data center.

Used it for a few years and they then suffered some major DOS outage and I ended up switching to Multiplay and I'm afraid, in my experiece, it was a cack service with frequent outages!

This was a couple of years back, so may not be a reflection of their current service but I switched back to DarkStar at the end of that year and am still with them.

i rent from multyplay for the last 2 years or so. £3.30 i think for a 12 slot ts3 server. money comes out every month. no problems. it has clan pay if you want others to contribute.

Not a bash post, but i would look into mumble servers myself. It is cheaper, has better sound quality, and consumes less resources.

I wouldn't go back to Multiplay, had them for 3 years and during the end they kept getting their servers hacked. We must have only got about a weeks usage in the last 4 months.
