I'm looking for to potentially source my own underlay to do all bedrooms, landing and stairs. There seemed to be recommendations of Cloud9 in previous years, just wondering what the current go to is for people? I've seen Plushwalk come up on a couple of places, but can't seem to find any reviews over time.

Any advice is appreciated. Thinking of sourcing carpet from a local store rather than somewhere like carpetright! Although they still seem to want to charge around £10 sqm for underlay

Personally I got some generic 12mm cloud 9 imitation stuff from Amazon for a fraction of the typical retail price.

£50 for 15 sqm and it seems exactly the same to me.

Fitting carpets to my new home too
Just bought some cloud 9 connoisseur 10mm to go round the house. Fitter says that the 10mm is fine for stairs too

Have a look around for fitters who do not supply (so just fit only). They will cost a bit more for their fitting service but should work out overall cheaper as getting the carpets and underlay yourself saves you the middleman mark-up.
I had a quote for £3k for full supply+ fitting...
buying the carpets and underlay myself I saved £700. The fit-only fitter provided the grippers and z-bars etc but was £150 more expensive, but overall saved me £550.
