Hi, I am looking for a remote that can not only access my dvd player, tv, freeview box but also access my media pc and run movies and music on it.

Anyone got one, Can suggest a good one to get, Not loking to spend more than £350 though.

Cheers.

If you can do everything you want with your existing remotes (albeit with a lot of button pressing), and they all use infrared (rather than RF), get yourself a Logitech Harmony. Even the basic 525 (£60 or less) will do everything that you need. The more expensive models (885/895) add colour screens, extra programmable buttons, and rechargeable batteries, but still work in the same way.

I use a Harmony 885 for my main system (replacing a £700 Pronto), and a 525 for the kitchen system.

Have you looked at a Siemens Simpad - has a 800x600 wide colour display, and in combination with RCII software, is better IMHO then the top Prontos.
And a lot cheaper, at around £200 -/+ on fleabay.

Link to WinCEsoft (makers of RCII software) HERE

Most PC remotes are not very good quality. Have a look at girder for windows which will let you use almost any remote to control any application. Suitable usb receivers can be bought for about £4 from ebay.de (seach for "girder"). I'm using the remote from my arcam receiver to control my PC.
