Good screen recording software... pref' free!

I need some decent software for recording screen actions. Would be nice to have the mouse pointer highlighted in some way and I would need to be able to add annotations - preferably freeware.

Any recomendations?

Easily the best one out there for recording.

Just tried Open Broadcaster myself and it seems to work well
