I'm going through some rehabilitation after some ongoing medical condition issues. I used to do quite a lot of mountain biking five years back just as a casual hobby and really miss it. I'd like to get some exposure at home to start building up my fitness level and strengthening some of my associated muscles.

I'm pretty frugal so not looking to splash loads of cash but thinking of maybe picking up a well regarded second hand exercise bike on Facebook marketplace or similar. What sort of bike should I be looking for? Ang specific brands or models?

I've considered rollers but wont have the space inside for that. Thanks

Ah ok, I do have a full sus mountain bike which is nearly ten years old that I converted to a 1x10 setup. What woulf be a good turbo trainer that would work with a mtb with disc brakes? I assume you somehow mount the rear of the bike to them. What's considered good, I'd quite like to try out something like zwift if there's a low cost option to make it more immerse and to dynamically change resistance or would I need to pay a small fortune?

I have really knobbly offroad tyres on it at the moment

TT on MTB tyres would be horrid, probably best to get one that have cassette (chain fits onto the TT cassette) , rather than the one where it touches the tyre

Make sure you get something that is well built, ey @Gray2233 @mark 11:11 @Diddums
