Hi All,

My contract expires in a few months and I'm going to make the transition from a Pay monthly phone to SIM only and buying the phone separately.

I'm with T-Mobile (well, EE) now and while I've been pleased with them, the EE Sim only plans do not look great value for money wise...

Had a look at Three, they seem a lot better.

Any recommendations from anyone else? :)

Thanks
Jake

Im on three which Im enjoying no issues. What do you need minutes/data/texts wise?

Well I'm on the move quite a lot and while I have wifi at home and most of my friends houses/places I visit I don't like the idea of accidentally going over my data allowance and then all of a sudden I get a whopping great big bill :p :D

So unlimited data for certain.

Minutes and text I'm not entirely sure. I'm just looking at my phone to see if there is a minutes/text counter to see what my average each month has been.

Texts, I don't send a huge amount (I use whatsapp and Facebook messenger more than text) - minutes, probably 3-500 would be sufficient, with the top end being more overkill :)

I've heard a lot of bad things about giffgaff...shame as they're very cheap!

But I may have just explained why they're so cheap :p

Well I've figured out that I average around 90 minutes a month :)

Yeah there are LOTS of bad reviews of giffgaff...

Im a bit shocked by that ... my wife and kids are on it and have been for over a year ... it's O2 so if your O2 coverage is good in your area it should be fine ??

Ah right.

Well O2 sucks at mine and it sucks at my girlfriends where I'm moving to shortly :p

Cracking link! Thats awesome!

Three coverage is very good for where I'm moving to. I think I've made my mind up :)

Thanks to all.
