Good Smartphone Games

For those who like match-3 games like Bejewelled and Candy Crush, I've been playing Frozen Freefall for the past 12 years. It regularly gets updates (extra levels) to the point that I have never reached the end of the game because it keeps growing. You can also play it on Windows and the save file syncs between the phone and the PC.

I have also played Worms but only on a Sony-Ericsson P990i which was a very early smartphone back when they used to be called PDA phones. Good to know that Worms is still around so cheers for the shout out @DJMK4

Mobile gaming generally sucks, but might try some of these.

Usually stay away from the free games section, too much trash on mobile devices. Usually endless ads, or watch ads for one of many in game currencies, again, again and again.

Annoying, I also hate that old games break randomly with new Android releases only for them to released same game again and expect you to buy it again..

I found a recommendation somewhere for Polytopia, and I've got quite into that. It's a fairly quick tile-based strategy game, vaguely like Civ but simplified. Main thing is no ads. You can buy extra factions if you want to, but that's the way it's funded.
