Hello chaps and chapesses...

I'm looking for a small, lightweight, durable digital camera to take on holiday with me in October.

I had the Canon Ixus I-Zoom which I thought was fantastic. Took great pics, decent resolution, plenty of features and it was absolutely tiny. Unfortunately, it's broken. What should I be replacing it with in the £150 budget? Small and durable are my main requests, but I'd like it to take a good photo as well!

Cheers.

i have an ixus 75, its about a year old now, but i absolulety love it. Really takes some decent pictures. Theres probably a few better versions of this out now for around that price as well.

if small shiny and compact are your goals in that price range i'd look no further than the canon ixus range and probably stop at the 80is does a fantastic job of holiday snaps fo those just wanting to point and shoot. My mum loves the one I got her for her birthday!

I read lots of reviews that point to the Ixus and brought one but I must admit that i'm disappointed with it.

It bugs me because it overrides settings all the time between turning it off and on again, turn off the flash and when you turn it back on again its turned the flash on again, it basically does that with all the main settings in auto mode. Ok, not the worse thing in the world but it does wind me up !
