Tried to get into PitQue Friday night, queue was massive and didn't move an inch for 20 minutes, everyone got fed up and we ended up http://www.masalazone.com/locations/soho/ here which was fantastic, real traditional stuff not gallons of sweet creamy curry, I had mixed grill with mutton chops, lovely.
It's round the corner and there's loads of good eating round there so we'll try again next time, it was with work so I think I'll book Bodeans next time no ones got the appetite to queue.
Yeah Masala Zone looks like a generic chain (I think they need better branding) but I've been once and thought it was great. Good value too. Problem is there's an absolutely corking curry house about 100m from my front door that does the best butter chicken known to man. And they even give us a free after-dinner drink on most visits!
As for Pitt Cue, I work round the corner and still havent been because of the queue/popularity. I'm sure they'll get into a bigger place soon though.
Soho really is a gem for foodies at the moment, it's awesome working there. Check out Tonkotsu on Dean St. -- awesome ramen noodles with a 20hr pork bone stock. Yum
