Ive got 1 or 2 spots that have popped up (never had them before *touchwood*) so i tried clearisil ultra face wash but it just dries my face out to much and makes it go all flaky.

Any one recommend a decent one which clears spots fast without mega over drying or leaving redness :(

I tend to try drink water often, i dont eat choc n crisps, well not often, and i dont eat any crisps sept seabrooks snv ;)!

I wash my face twice a day, more if it feels greasey, when i get a shower i tend to turn it right up and face it for 20-30 seconds before wiping my face n washing it properly, i dont use creams etc, they dont tend to do much for me.

If i feel a spot coming on i tend to rub my skin pretty hard until the spot appears and they try get rid using a nasty method but it works and overnight stops them starting.

Oh and make sure your hair is grease free, this helps a lot!!, my hair does my head in if its dirty, so its washed daily anyway, (which i know is bad but i cant help it ive tried) anyways yeah if yous hair is clean ive found it helps stop spots.

Hope this helps at all.

First, drink lots of water.
Second, don't touch your face. Even when you think you're hands are clean, e.g. in the shower, washing your face in the sink etc.
Third, you are what you eat. Eat salads, eat vegetables, stay away from sweets + crisps.

Thats not really that true, i dont eat much veg, i eat peas, bout it, im not a big veg fan, i eat a bit of fruit now and again, i keep saying to myself that i need to step that up.

Sweets are bad on a daily basis, one a week maybe twice isnt so bad, dont over do it, if you burn off what you eat daily i.e. if you eat 3000 calories in a day, then try burn that 3000.

I do eat chips quite a bit, but they are my mums potato ones so they int as bad as your normal processed stuff.

Cleaning your face with a flannel soaked in hot water is good. Make sure to change it every 3-4 days to keep bacteria build up down.

Drink lots of water/milk.

Don't do lots of kitchen work (the heat can make you sweat and can increase bacteria breeding).

If you do some heavy excercise like a long football game or biking or something wash your face because the sweat will be sat on the surface of your skin blocking it all up.

Pop the damn things and be done with it. Damn, people want a product for everything these days.

If I ever get a spot I just wait for the head to appear then see how far I can make it splatter on the mirror :p I'm then left with a small red blob which goes after a day or so. No big deal!

I've got some stuff called 'Freederm'. Really works a treat. My chin is looking clearer than it has done for years.

It's pretty pricey, about £8, and looking at the size of the tube it seems bad value for money but trust me, it will last.

Squeezing causes scarring :/ I don't recommend. I don't attack them until they look like pus.
I use clean and clear face wash, it's ok. I find that being in sweaty environments (like having a cold and sharing a room) increase spots, I wash my face twice a day to avoid and they have improved. Drinking lots of water and vit c help as well.

I get them on/around the immediate nose area, and along my jawline (:s), they don't bother me but would be nice to get rid of :)

They seem to be random for me though (I monitored what I was eating, and how much work I was doing over 2 weeks, and there weren't any patterns :()

there was a time when i was trying out every new facewash/cream to get rid of a few spots i had...in the end i stopped using all of them, and just used water, and voila didnt get any

off course 1 or 2 will pop up every now and then still, but that shouldnt be a problem
