Good Telescopic Hedge Shears

I've got no idea about gardening but I want to make a present to my dad to look after his garden. Can you suggest a decent make of telescopic shears, I dont want to buy cheap ****, want it to last? Need it to have blades 30cm +

A pair of telescopic loppers are also handy having as well for the larger branch.
