Next month is going to be a nice month for commision for me so im looking to get a bigger monitor to make the most out of my system. Current have a samsung syncmaster 930BF which is great but it means that my system is limited by the resolution. Would like to keep this 19" monitor as a secondary monitor but not sure you can run 2 monitors on a crossfire setup (think you can but its not that good).

So looking for a larger monitor over 20" mainly for gaming and photo editing looking at anything upto £700 (maybe slightly more if it is for something very good).

i have had my Dell for about month and it is great and at that price and warranty will not last. The key is you need a good set up i.e graphics and cpu.i have 7800gtx but it is a bit limited by only having 256 ram  but it still plays BF2 and other fps very well :)

yeah been looking around and think the Dell might be the way to go. Think i will leave it a little while though and see if the price drops a little (just spent loads on a new system including the 19" monitor so a little hard to justify it atm :) ).

Thanks for the help!

That price has been constant for ages. I think the cheapest it was on OcUK was £650. I bought it for £700 last summer. It has fluctuated, but only in the upwards direction. There might be a price drop once the new model comes out, but the biggest saving will be from the second hand screens from people who are upgrading for one reason or another.
