Good things to download?

I'm considering a few 1tb drives but I don't really store a great deal. Is there anything free a legal to download?

I like downloading but there's nothing to download lol

Buy me the drives instead and I'll store my Microsoft Licensing downloads there, saves me having to burn them all to disk!

Rip all of your (non-copyprotected of course) DVDs to your hard drive for convenience. That'll eat em up.

I agree with bledd though - save your money.

This is certainly a diiferent take on things, never run across anybody wanting to download for the sake of downloading...but then I have lived a rather sheltered life!

Everyone seems to be using 1tb drives and what have you and using multiple drives and using RAID.

and for the cost of getting a 500gb F3 I might as well get a 1TB but I don't have anything worth installing other than games. I might look into backing up iso's of my dvd's and hd/blu-rays but I find it hard to make good use of my storage.

What is the point of having a 2 TB drive when I'd be comfortable with a 300ish GB. I'm not looking for insults from you guys (as it's expected anyway) but what can I do?

I want to make use of 50mb download speed and my drives

Maybe look into something like folding@home and storage@home if you want to put your hardware to greater use.
