Hi, I currently run an ATI X1950 pro (AGP) and am thinking I should upgrade soon. I realise I'll need to get a PCI-E motherboard to enable me to get an improved card - I'm thinking a 8800GTS looks a good option. However one of my friends mentioned that there are new cards set to be released in the next month or so, meaning it would be better to hold off until these come out. Is this accurate or should I just go ahead and get one now?
 
It's accurate October the 29th new cards are coming wait until the dust settles and see whats what.
