Good txt message tones

If anyone has a way of making ringtones/message tones from sound clips, I would love to know, theres a song I want as my ringtone but its the opening credits of an old childrens series so I cant find it anywhere but youtube.

What phone have you got and what song is it?

Can your phone use mp3's as ringtones?
 
the mgs found (!) message tone used to make me jump out of my skin everytime it went off, so i changed it back to a normal one. i still have the codec as my ringtone though. :p

i hate people who have the worms incoming message tone and they dont even know where it originates from, this annoys me >.< they're like listen how cool my message tone is!!11 i know where its from, gawd >_>

just found this place which has loads of sound sets, problem is they are in .aif, but if you have an audio converter you can convert them into mp3.

I have a nokia 5800 so yes it plays mp3's fine as ringtones, the song I want (dont laugh) is this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLVe1NkQA78. It could always just be from the chorus which kicks in on 58 seconds. (or both)

Im so sad arent I, but I do love having really stupid ringtones/message tones.

The Racoons!!! Isn't that a blast from the past! All I remember is Cyril Sneer and those stupid pig henchmen. I also remember the muppet babies - not that well though - I was only born in '85! Thundercats are the coolest. I used to have a plastic Sword of Omens and a thundercats rain mac (when I was 5). And last but not least, who can forget he-man.

Sorry, that post triggered memories - I'll stop rambling. It can easily be done - I'll try and make some for you - only because you have good taste in cartoons. Won't be finished till Monday at least though, coursework due in tomorrow and college all weekend - oh the fun!

no problems :) i have the supermario 1up noise for my message tone :D and the codec buzz from metal gear as my ringtone. damn i feel like a geek..lol.


i might dig out my worms armageddon CD and get all the voices off of that, or was it worms 2... hmm.

As for a site for downloading msg/ring tones, just use http://www.singmyring.com/ then view the page's source to grap the URL for the .mp3 and save the target and it will download the MP3 file

Ah I spent ages choosing my tones on the Magic, a tone available for everything :p

My Gmail, Txt and Google Calendar notifications are discreet to others but audible to me and are the same tone but vary in pitch so I know exactly what msg has come in if phone is in my pocket.

The Google chat notifcation is the official google chat sound in gmail.

I have something similar. Vibration for text vibrate and a click noise for emails.
