I own two wireless keyboards and both have faults, I was wondering what is a decent wireless keyboard?

The keyboards I have are the Logitech K750 and the HP Wireless Elite Keyboard.

The issue with my K750 is theres a fault with the battery and it loses charge very quickly. The issue with the HP is it seems to lose connection with the receiver unless I place the receiver in the front usb port of my case which works better but still drops connection occasionally, usually when I'm playing a game. Also the typing feel of the HP is pretty poor, feels mushy and not springy which I prefer.

I was looking at the Microsoft Arc keyboard or get another K750 and hope this one works.

Positives of the ms keyboard are imo its very stylish, its compact which I prefer and doesn't have a numpad which I don't use.

As for the K750, I did think the typing feel was very good when I was using it...thats it. It doesn't have any other features that I need on a daily basis.

So I think I will get the Microsoft Arc and hope I've just been unlucky with the wireless keyboards I've chosen.

Any other keyboards I should take a look at? I don't like ergonomic keyboards or anything with a bizarre layout.

Thanks

Well I just got the Microsoft Arc Keyboard today.

Its small but it doesn't feel cramped, its basically like typing on a ordinary keyboard with the numpad removed.

I'm getting used to the key feel, its a very positive feel and the keys spring back up immediately after pressing them. I think it will be a while before I can type at my usual speed without making mistakes.

Other than that? It just works. No problems like the two other wireless keyboard I tried. No drop outs or anything. I have just tested it playing UT 2004 and it coped fine with a few keys held down at the same time.

Very pleased with this Arc keyboard.

Logitech K800. I loved the K750 but after a while the keys became very difficult to press.

The keys on the K800 are similar to the scissor type mechanical keys used on laptops but seem much much nicer.

It has an eneloop style rechargeable and most importantly replaceable battery should things go wrong.

I did think about the K800 but it was way too expensive and I was worried about how the backlighting would affect battery life.

Yeah its in a slightly higher tier than the K750 but after failing to find a decent wireless keyboard and almost going back to wired the K800 ticked all the boxes perfectly. It lasts about 2-3 weeks of heavy use before it needs to be charged. It comes with 2 eneloop batteries which are charged by the micro usb charge cable.

Backlit keys were a plus and actually turned out to be excellent addition. They can be dimmed (think its about 3-4 stages) or turned off completely.

I have it paired with a G400 mouse (couldn't find a good enough wireless mouse) well the G700 is good but has about 8 hours of battery life and its heavy.

I can reccomend the logitech performance mx for a wireless mouse, mine lasts about 1 week with heavy use before it needs charging.

Yeah the Performance Mouse Mx is the best non gaming wireless mouse I've tried. Its has DPI selection too which is great and quite often gets missed as a feature.
