As everyone who has Virgin knows,The superhubs wireless is utter crap unless your right next to the thing.

So those of you that have the Superdump in Modem only mode..what do you use alongside it to provide better wireless?

Would this be good?

Asus RT-N12E N300 Eco Series Wireless Router

I had the new virginmedia super hub fitted 2 weeks ago. Not had any problems with the wireless so far.

Have you thought about powerline adapters?

Our superhub...its great if your in the same room, but go out of the room into another and you can expect a "Low" 1 bar signal and random dropouts..when downstairs its unbearable..and our house is a new build with paper thin walls. :p

We was using power line adapters for a while (T-Links) and they were working okay,Now they will never connect to each other for some reason,i think one or the other has packed up.

So i was going to go the wireless route again, but this time try the superhub in modem mode, and get a decent wireless router with 2 or more external antennas for extra range as we now have..

2 laptops,1 Tablet and one desktop with a Wi-fi adapter in the house so..

Asus n56u or n66u.

I did have an n56u on order but cancelled it as I managed to get a superhub 2 for £10.

I use the D-link dir-655, good solid connection with good voip and bundles of other features. People will have their good and bad points with every manufactur so can be a difficult to choose.

I've just purchased the Asus RT-AC66U to do exactly the same thing.

Should help the situation and future proof your setup.
