Good wireless signal router/modem?

I'm currently using a Netgear DG834PN from 5 years ago and it keeps needing a reboot to get the connection running smoothly.

Is there anything with a stronger wireless signal available now?

Looks good but not keen on having 2 devices instead of one. I assume anything with the modern built in is crappy?
