I know it has already been mentioned, but the They Hunger is absolutely brilliant. As a triology it is far better than HL.

Downloaded Killing Floor last night and setup a server. Very rocking-looking game

Shame there's not a few more Zombies and a bit more weaponary...but I guess I was hoping for something a little more 'spammy'.

Going to give it more of a try in the coming days. El wootzo.

Used to like brainbread myself

was a rather tatty looking HL 1 zombie mod, but damn it was fun, especially on the ultra hard maps where you have limited ammo, limited escape routes but hoardes of zombies coming at you.

Sorry to revive an oldish post but I was wondering if anyone knew of any zombie mods that have bots.

I am going to give They Hunger a go when I get home, but was wondering if there were any games where I could just load a server with zombies bots and run around killing them.... which to me would be a great and wonderful thing!!!

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Brainbread mod for Half-Life 1 is exactly what you want. It's not pretty, but it does the job

I downloaded BrainBread and They Hunger last night. Only had time to try brainbread, but I'm well chuffed with it, exactly what I was looking for, hundreds and hundreds of zombies, and me with a shot gun, it's brilliant!!!
