The scenary has potential, the model is photogenic, it is well exposed.

Is it a competent photo as a family album? Yes

Is it a good photo in terms of Art? No

You have a very pretty girlfriend thou.

The photo doeesn't know what it wants to be, its not a portrait, it is not a landscape. That is the main problem, composition is your enermy and your friend, get it right and it'll be a lot better.

As i say i wasnt trying to make it arty or anything just literally was a holiday snap just thought it looked good.

yeah, in terms of an arty shot it would either be an emphasis of the artist, probably with a short depth of field to blur out background distratctions, or an emphasis of the landscape without the GF.

however as a holiday snap its very very good, and your very lucky
