Thanks all for the kind comments!

Have been busy in the car having picked it up yesterday afternoon after going through the boring registration process here.

I have the full history and spec on the car and it has been well looked after though I will need to get some new tires on it. The run down of additional options the original owner had on the car are:

Extra year warranty (a nice bonus)
Porsche Torque Vectoring
PDK
Heated Seats
Ventilated Seats
Dynamic Cornering Lights
Park Assist System
Sports Chrono Package Turbo including Dynamic Engine Mounting
Carbon Package
Floor Mats in Interior Color
Sport Wheel with Shift Paddles
Leather Interior with Natural Leather
Side Strips with Model Designation
Interior Carbon Package
Door Entry Guards in Carbon
Aerokit Turbo
Rear Center Console in Carbon
Steering Column in Leather
Turbo Logo on Center Console Storage Bin

When I spec the car on the porsche configurator it comes out to a massive 590k aed. That is some fierce depreciation after only 18 months and 32k km

I have to admit the big 'turbo" logos down the side are not really me but it does somehow suit the car.

Anyhow - the car is sensationally quick compared to the C2S just so much more torque and power on tap at all speeds. The delivery of which is again very different from the C2S. Brutally fast but teutonic with it.

It is a weekend car so may do the occasional run over to the other coast of the UAE and possibly an odd trip to Oman. Track is a possibility - I will probably re-join the UAE porsche club and get involved in a few of their organised drives.

A few more photos:

Awesome! Wheels look pretty good, but I prefer the other Turbo wheels.

How much are these over there? Big difference to the UK I'm guessing?

As specced new the car would cost 100k sterling so a bit cheaper than the UK. The better part is that the car has lost over 1/3 of its new value in 18 months. Second hand car prices for this type of thing really are very good in Dubai.

Thanks also for the comments on the interior - they made me smile :) - I also think it is super red inside but all is forgiven when you press the go button. Otherwise the red/carbon is something that the local market really likes so will help when it comes time to shift it on.

Thank you all for the comments. Didn't think it would they would be so marmite but great nonetheless.

It's going into the Porsche service Center this week for some new boots. The rear tires are really pricey :( but I expected this when I brought the car.

PS mattyg - I am a nice guy really :)
