Goodbye F-14.....

Well, in respect of the fallen bird, I am organising a showing of Top Gun at my local cinema for my friends birthday.

We all love the film for the cheesy quotes and awesome air shots.

Sad we originally missed it, cause of the fact we were yet to be born, but we WILL see the baby on the big screen with loud ass sound before October ends (Oct. 29th to be precise!)

Ahh Haa!! Jesters dead!!! Yee haa!

It's a sad day when a pure fighter gets replaced with a nancyboy jack of all trades. It's all because of money though.

The F/A-18 Super Hornet is much easier to maintain than the F-14 Tomcat. Tomcat requires up to 28 hours of work on it for each hour in the air.

The Hornet just does nothing for me - the Tomcat though is an icon. Just looking at them - the F-14 from the front looks evil. :D

Back to the Hornet - you know what they say - Jack of all trades, Master of none.
