Goodwood Festival of Speed

Hi guys,

Thinking of attending this event this year for the first time. I wouldn't go for all four days though, so I was wondering which would be the best day to go for ?

I'd like to see the F1 car/s and F1 drivers the most, and the more modern supercars... anything else is a bonus - which day is this most likely to be ?

Skip the Thursday, it's just the Moving Motor Show so none of the proper stuff runs.

All the proper stuff runs twice on each of the Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Generally the place gets busier as the weekend goes on, mainly because there are more big names to see on the Sunday.

EDIT: Take a look at this - it show's who's likely to be there on which day. It's not been updated in a few weeks, there might be a new version tomorrow though.

im going with a few mates on the friday....not so worried about seeing the big name drivers and want to see the cars! have been the previous 2 years and it is awesome does get quite busy but can get uber close to all of the cars

Friday is probably the best day as it will be a little quieter than Sat/Sun but as said, you won't see half as many drivers there until the weekend.

Great event - went few years ago on a Sunday - just bit crowded.
