Google 1 premium... How does. Photo sharing work?

Not sure if this is the right sub forum for this.

Thinking about getting Google 1 premium.

Gf has a fitbit.
We have Google cameras at home.
2tb of shared cloud storage would be good.
Its only 7.99

What I'm not sure about is if it has to be attached to her account for the fitbit?
If it is attached to hers would I have limitations on photo storage etc?

For photos you just have them join your family, quite simple really. Not sure about the rest. I was a bit surprised there is no "family" storage space, (unless I just missed it?), meaning for a semi dedicated shared area you just need to set it up on one person's and then share it maually.

I think (as I currently have a subscription at cheaper tier) I have my own space. And there are some shared folders, I think. Haven't used it for anything else but backup for a while!

But I wasn't sure if I'd lose this "private" space if it was shared.

I have the 2Tb google 1. I set it up to share the space with my family. The Good lady and 2 kids. As I'm the one who set it up on my gmail account I am the one that gets the fit premium. She has fitbit too but does not get it. So that's how that works.
On the 2 TB package you can also get Nest Aware plus for £59.99 a year as an addon which I do because it's loads cheaper as you mention you have cameras. I also pay annually as that saves money too.
