Google Analytic help!

Hi guys,
I hosted my website yesterday and i immediately signed up for Google Analytic and i have had a lot of family members and friends etc look at it but none of their views are showing up?

Does anyone else here use Google Analytics?

There is a delay generally before the stats come through iirc.

How long has it been since the visits?

Yes, it says the website is being tracked and has the little green tick so Google is using it but i am just not seeing any results.

Well it went live last night and people have been using it all day.

I will check tomorrow but if still no luck does anyone know of any good alternatives that i can use to check the usage of the website and how many visitors etc.

remember google analytics is setup for the previous 24 hours....so tomorrow you *should* start getting stats...

If you want to include your family members and friends in your Google Analytics account you should put their google emails.

Woopra is also very good, I'm currently running google analytics and whoopra on one of my sites just to get a feel for both.

Woopra is free for up to 30,000 page views a month and has a cool little desktop client you can use and monitor the live stats on your site, ie. see how many people are currently on it, where they're from, system stats etc.

Don't forget to exclude your IP address from the analytics reporting, otherwise you can seriously skew your results.
