Google Apps Email query

I'm looking at switching a domain's emails that I've inherited over to Google Apps as the provider's webmail is unreliable and generally pretty poor but I'm not too sure about how it deals with forwarding addresses.

I have 8 main addresses then another 7 address that forward onto a couple of the main addresses. I know you get 10 free, but this mean I'm going to need 15 total or can you set up individual addresses to catch other names?

In other instances I have standard forwarding which I assume it can cope with no problem.

I thought it was 10 users? I dont think domains/aliases are limited.

You can create nicknames which don't take up additional slots.

So if you have an account for [email protected], you can add nicknames to that account for example [email protected] and [email protected]. Mail addressed to those nicknames will be forwarded to [email protected]. They won't take up additional user slots.

Hate to be pedantic, but they are not "nicknames", but "email aliases".

Yeah I know.

They're referred to as nicknames in Google Apps which is why I made it bold so he know's what to look for in the Control Panel.
