Hi,
Has anyone had much luck with google calendar sync? I can get it syncing (not hard), but i only want it to sync one of my calendars.

Any ideas?

I've always used the ical link for Sunbird calendar.

Found under Settings -> Calendar Settings -> Calendars -> Click on the calendar you want -> copy the private ical or xml address

Used Google Calendar Sync for a long time with no issues, until I upgraded to Office 2010 which they don't support yet, however there is a modified exe that works a treat, just have a google around.

Work: Exchange > Outlook 2010 > Google
Home: Google > Outlook 2010 & Thunderbird

I need it to sync though. Saves me putting the same calendar entries twice.

Not sure why you don't think it'll sync. Sunbird has the option to sync with google calendar using the ical file link. I can add and view events on either Sunbird or Google Calendar.

I think your both missing what im asking here.
I don't need a new calendar app.
Im not having problems syncing.

I just want to be able to select which calendars on my google account are synced into Outlook.

Google Calendar Sync doesn't support multiple calendars unfortunately. It will only ever sync to you "main" calendar.

I dont know of any free applications which would allow the functionality you are after, however there are a few paid ones out there that will do the job. Have a look at OggSync

Make yourself clearler next time
Dont really think you can get clearer than:
I can get it syncing (not hard), but i only want it to sync one of my calendars.
Pretty clear there that i can sync things fine. But only want to sync one of my calendars. With the 's' indicating multiple calendars.
Not my fault if people dont read.

Might buy GSyncIT on Monday, claim it back from work. :-p
