I have a user who is currently using google chrome. He says that the username and password box keeps coming up when because it is trying to access the proxy server.

I have downloaded the ADM template for google. (includes google chrome)]

There are no options to control other things like proxy settings. Just to be able to turn off automatic updates.

Does Chrome just piggyback off IE, he is saying the settings are similar. No idea why he wants to use Chrome but apparently it is much faster
 
Yes, Google Chrome uses IE settings.

Probably just NTLM auth not being passed through properly. Can he not put in his credentials as domain\username + password and ask Chrome to remember the password?
