Google chrome deleted all my bookmarks

Turned my pc on this morning and went to click on my LBC radio bookmark only to find all of my bookmarks have disappeared. Only thing i noticed different this morning was that google asked me to choose a profile, so i logged into mine and it appears all settings have reset.

Is it just me?

I use Vivaldi so all my bookmarks and settings are synced.

Your bookmarks are sync'd to the Google account you sign in to Chrome with. You most likely didn't log in to the same account which held the bookmarks.

Click the round icon with a letter in top right and see if you have other profiles setup.

Either you've logged into the wrong account or are now on an account whereas were not before so the bookmarks on this profile aren't there as they are on the non logged in profile.

WINKEY+R > %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\

Your profile folders will be within there, might need to go one level deeper into User Data folder. Fish out the old profile folder, copy bookmarks file to the new one, or save a copy to desktop and import the bookmarks file within Chrome onto the new one.
