Google Chrome: Fixed at last?

I updated my browser at work yesterday (this hasn't appeared on my other pcs at home yet oddly), and all of a sudden: incredibly smooth scrolling, perfectly loading and animating gifs, joy! It seems to have changed the look of some tick-boxes on a few webpages as well.

Has anyone else had this update? Months and months of stuttery rubbish and poorly playing gifs eradicated in one magical patch? Am I imagining this?

I've never had any issues with Chrome it's always been good for me.

chrome is still slow as **** when saving a file for me. no idea what's causing it...

What version is it? It says I'm upto date but don't have any smooth scroll.

I ditched the normal Chrome, it kept making me get stuck on pages so when I hit the back button it just reloaded the page.

Now I run Chromium, on Version 34.0.1769.0 (242992)

My Chrome is using Version 32.0.1700.76 m and says its up to date.

Only issue I have with Chrome at the moment is that the context menus suddenly disappear visually right after opening.

I ditched Chrome due to not being able to access my credit card on the Tesco site, went back to firefox.

This was probably about a year ago but I have firefox set up how I like it now so have no motivation to try it again.

I use firefox but on the occasion when I have used chrome I have noticed how much faster it is at loading pages

Chromium is great, only annoyance is that you have to manually set up Flash Player for it.
