Google Chrome on Ubuntu

I really want to use it, and will when its plugin architecture develops enough to give something as good as Firefox's Addblock Plus, the current ad blockers for chrome are mostly messy hacks :(

Good news that the Beta came out today though :)

..is blazingly fast! More than double the performance of Firefox in Peacekeeper! Get it whilst it's hot!
Yes... but that's not exactly difficult - ff is a hog!

Try out arora... that is lightning (but very incomplete).

So true, all the adblockers are a bit hacky, but check out chromeplugins.org (I think that's the site), has an adblockplus plugin that is does the job, but feels really hacky.

I've been using the Chromium daily builds since they came out and they've been really good. I do, however, get annoying double-posts occurring when I post on some vBulletin forums though.

C'est trés bon.

I love chrome as well, it's now my main browser because its fast and simple. I open it every day with about 20 tabs from the last session and it loads them in seconds! I've been using the unstable repo for months now and seen how quickly it progressed, they really have done a great job. All the extensions on the google official site work really well. I run flashblock and a few others. One feature I liked was the bookmark syncing, it was in the unstable build for a week or so but since then it has been taken out, it was very useful going from your desktop to laptop, it should be back though.
