Hi Guys,

I've been playing with some HTML / CSS making a website within a centred container.. It all looks great in IE7 and FF, but from time to time when I load it in Google Chrome, I get a big patch of white at the bottom of the screen.

I'm pretty new to this, so I'm sure its probably something I've missed out.

That's what the bottom of the page looks like when it happens.

Any Ideas?

Thats the navigation in the image i assume, you sure that's at the bottom?

I'd say from the image it's at the top......

Can you link the page in question?

If you have Firefox installed, download this..
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60

Then view the page, hold CTRL + SHIFT and press F... a cross cursor will appear allowing you to click elements on the page and will tell you what they are when clicked on....

Hope that helps...

The screenshot is a cut out of a bottom menu, with the white underit. Downloaded the Web Dev tool cheers.

When using it, whenever I hover over the offending area in FF it while using the tool it just turns it into a horizontal scroll bar
