The last week or so I've found it to be really slow in loading heavy web pages. To start with, my internet connection had issues, but these have been resolved (back at 37mbps :D) yet the lag remains. The entire tab (inside the page) becomes unresponsive until the page is almost or fully loaded.

I think it's Chrome as IE works just fine and zips along as it should.

Anyone else experienced this or can anyone offer any sensible suggestions?

Remove apps/addons for Chrome? Maybe one of them is playing up.

Settings > Options > Extentions > Try un ticking them all and see what it's like? :)

can anyone tell me why i am now constantly getting 'the following plug-in is unresponsive, would you like to stop it' or the plug-in has crashed.

chrome is my favoured browser but i can't keep on like this

I've found that my install of IE is corrupted for the google talk plug-in (for video).. and I couldn't resolve it.. so installed chrome...and now google talk works again.

Basically.. any program can get 'confuzzelled', especially following BF3 crashes ;-) lol.

Is there a Chrome equivalent of this is what I meant?

i'd uninstall it. then search your user profile for any traces of google folders, delete them and start again.

I tried this for my problem and it didn't help. Installed firefox for the first time in years, but it's not as slick. I think I like IE9 more.....

There's a Google folder in the user profile, then AppData and Local. I couldn't see any others around there.
