Seeing as the other Google+ thread has turned into 44 pages of invite requests and one page of actual discussion, how about a thread dedicated to discussing the merits/flaws of the new social network?
I see it a bit like the progression from Bebo to Facebook - people outgrew the childishness of Bebo and opted for the more professional Facebook network. It will take time for people to start migrating over, but I already have far more friends on it than I thought I would after just a few weeks.
Google+ is only in the beta stage at the moment, so once they open the G+ SDK to developers then I'm sure we'll see lots of nifty tools, games and other stuff.
The Circles feature is also great. It means you can compartmentalise people into groups you only want to share certain things with. A lot better than the "all or nothing" approach of Facebook imo.
I see that Facebook has just announced a video chat option too. Is this a direct result of Google+ offering the same service?
*First person to request an invite gets lynched and has their email address spammed incessantly!*
