Google Drive issue

Whilst using my PC last night, I got an error message saying that my system administrator had disabled Google Drive, which is a bit weird as this is the only PC in the house (running W7 x64). My Drive client was inactive and I'd been logged out.

Now when I try and set it up again, I enter my user details and then I'm trying to change the location of my files to the existing Google Drive folder with all of my data in it. However, Drive is telling me I need to select an empty folder.

If I do that, Drive then starts trying to download all of my data from the cloud (about 52GB!!), but all of this data is already on my PC from the previous install.

Does anyone know a way I can just repoint it to my old Drive folder? Or am I going to have to download all of my data?
