quick Q can specific cells be locked and only edited by specific users,

ie using google drive to update drivers availabilty could we only allow a driver to edit their own cells? or is there something out there suitable for this

What are you using it to record?

You might be better using a google form and sending each driver the link, they'll fill the form in and it'll save to a spreadsheet.
