Yes and no.Probably this. It’s already behind protection.
Just allow such passwords to be reset/cleared but with say a 72hr delay. ie: So you'd need to authenticate/action the password reset/clear via normal authentication, but it would take 72hrs to apply. Thinking being, if your account has been compromised, the access of password protected documents/folders is at least delayed such that hopefully the owner has time to react? They could put a disclaimer on saying if you forget your passwords your document/folder is gone….forever and they won’t reset it because they can’t.
Define safe?To be fair keeping your passwords in somewhere you deem as unsafe seems a bit crazy?
Have you got pearls to clutch? I can lend you some if necessary.Totally crazy!
A unique email address with a unique password lol don't need to go that far. A unique password would do.
Sure thing, throw some over.
PS Ask Google.
And that's on Windows systems too? Is that free or paid for? And clearly you trust that app/company enough with all your passwords?I use vault warden on 6 devices. Then the security is up to me to manage.
No, it's me saying I'm at a life/risk balance that I'm basically happy with, but if there was an easy way to improve it (ie: password protect a google folder) that would be nice. You're basically saying you do unsafe things and want Google to try and cover for you?
Why is your phone banking app (along with others) asking you for authentication when opening? Simple additional level of security. Why would you need to do that? It's already protected.
And yet many apps on your phone for example don't agree, and require authentication to access them. You don't need any more security if it's protected with 2FA + password.
I think you want a whine rather than just a conversation?Yes, and I feel like you've decided what to use for this purpose, then moan they haven't added other features for your use case... which isn't the use case it was intended for.
"I can't believe my car will sink if I try and drive to France?! Why haven't BMW addressed this still!?"
I looked up "Vault Warden" on Android... And nothing came up called "Vault Warden"... So...?Looked up where? You didn't look very far did you?
