I read on wikipedia that a couple of places (Las Vegas and Cambridge in the US) is covered in a resolution of 15cm. That seems phenomenal so i'm somewhat skeptical as to whether this data is true.

Does anyone know of a fairly up to date source which gives some info on the current coverage/resolutions used in Google Earth?

I have googled bt nthing really has turned up. Lots of news on the Google Earth pages but not much in the way of figures, just "new hi-res maps: Washington, NY .....")

Thanks.

I'm not to sure but I guess that there are lot of places they aren’t allowed to display, IE military bases, and government bases in the middle of no where. I've not used Google earth to thou so could be wrong just would think some governments would get upset if you could see
