Google Earth Flight Sim

I'm at work so I can't check if this is actually true or not, but apparently Google Earth has a hidden flight sim. Anyone able to give it a try and confirm?

just tried on my windows xp machine it works command is ctrl + a though not Ctrl + Alt + A

hmm doesnt work for me - either CTRL + ALT + A or CTRL + A.

What version of google earth are you using jigman? I'm on 4.0.2737

I just gave it a go, couldn't get it to work at first, so I updated my Google Earth and I was away. Ctrl+windows key+A.

Flying through the grand canyon is actually pretty good fun, IL post some pics if anyone cares?

Cool lol, with enough AF and a good internet connection, from some altitutes it actually looks a lot better as fsx lol.

Has anyone found that rudder controls are not correct? I have to speed up by twisting the stick, and Aileron left and right using the throttle. They're mixed up.

Same here, very weird before I noticed

Thought they'd moddelled the yaw from increase power thing into it heh

i don't get that, it all works perfectly for me

still not as good as fs9 or fsx though

Hmm, guess Il google it. Its driving me mad, I can't use the stick to gently make turns like I would like to.

You really appreciate the scale of the world when it can be put into some kind of context, its no longer just a map, you can actually understand how large the land is by understanding exactly how fast you're moving. Great work Google.
