How do I stop google or any other search engine predicting what Ive typed eg. if I type the letter N into the seach bar it shows all the other searches with the letter N how do i stop it or remove previous searchs

A little more information may be required to properly help you...


What browser are you using?
If you're using IE, go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced and make sure "use inline Autocomplete" is turned off.

What Toolbars do you have installed?
If you're using the Google Toolbar, go to the Options menu and disable Autofill.

To remove previous searches if using IE:

While in IE (or go through control panel)..
Tools > Internet Options > Content [Tab] > Auto Complete > Clear Forms

/Edit - you can configure auto complete settings in the same location
