Anyone else noticed Google Images now has the ability to filter images by content and colour;

I think the content one has been there a while, not seen the colour one yet though. Anyone tried it much?

No I hadn't noticed that.

Thanks for the errrr handy tip on how to filter images in google, it will be of great use.

I wonder if I can look for women, then filter 'french knickers'.

How the hell have they programmed that? Have they got something that picks up on hue or something? I remember a flatmate a couple of years ago writing his master's dissertation on some AI recognition software and that was complex at times but incredibly interesting.

There was a website where people would upload loads of images and you could do this, but there was a lot more choice of colours to use. Can't remember what it was though

I think I knew about the content one for a while but I only just noticed the colour option yesterday. I haven't given them both a try yet but will do!
