I think this is the best place to ask this...
I have recently decided I'd like to use a webmail solution so that my emails are not tied to my computer and so I can access them anywhere. The solutions provided with my hosting, Horde, SquirrelMail and RoundCube, are pretty limited and/or a pain to use. So I thought why not use Gmail?!
Anyway, having setup Gmail to work with all my email addresses, I found it rather annoying that you get a "on behalf of [email protected]" on some email clients.
My solution to this was, I thought, to use Google Apps. However, I am still facing the same problem. I presumed that as I'd setup different emails in the Google Apps sets that I'd be able to access them all from whatever user is setup as a recipients for said address. That's not the case though, you still have to add it via the "Send mail as:" option and it still does the "on behalf of [email protected]" thing.
Am I missing something? Can I allow a Google Apps user to use multiple email addresses, or is the way I'm doing it the only way? If so, back to Outlook for me
