When you look at somewhere on Google Maps you will notice that there are businesses, bars and resteraunts etc that appear at or near to their location. I assumed it was just a case of that they cross reference them to what they find when they crawl various websites and update the maps accordingly.
However, Ive been in our services offices for over a year now and still dont appear on Google Maps and a company that has moved in about 6 months ago have their name on the map already so wondering if there is smoething I need to do perhaps? They are a slightly larger company but I dont think they will have a substantial amount of traffic over my website.
I have a website with the address on, a Google places account, I use Google webmaster tools and analytics, and even have a Google Plus account.
Have I missed something? Or is just down to their web presence being bigger than mine?
