Have just downloaded the latest version (2.0.0) on my K800i, sat it on my desk for a minute or so, and it's picked up pretty accurately where I am.

This will be great when I'm out and about in a place I don't know, and the directions available via Google Maps Mobile can work from your current location!

Will see what it's like with moving in the car on the way home!

Very impressed so far - awaiting feedback/opinions from others! :)

I have a K800i but dont have a big WAP/Internet access account and costs me a lot to go online....everytime I use this does it go online or what? Not sure how it works. Can you guide me through installing it on my phone? Cheers
Me + mobile internet = n00b ;)

Yes, it does use an internet connection - both to check your location, and to download the maps.

It's not really advised unless you've got unlimited or a large data package.

All it says when i do it is "your current location is temporarily unavailable"?

Go to Menu -> Help -> About/Info, and at the very bottom if it says:

myl: N/A

then your phone isn't supported. If it has a load of numbers, then it can read your location - and it then needs to "check in" to get the location of that mobile tower. Mine did sit there for a few minutes before actually pinpointing my location.
