Hi,

I have been commuting about with my satnav on my android phone.

It used to be great, where it would and give me a proper 'sat nav' like view.

Recently, its started giving me navigation, but from a birds eye view.

I have fiddled with it to try to get it back to what it was was no avail.

Any ideas?

don't know if its the same but on ios theres a 3d button on the bottom left of the screen to click to change into 3d navigation

Press the compass on the top left. This switches you from a plan view (with North always top of the screen) to a chase/helicopter view i.e. normal sat nav view.

I find easiest way to use the Navigation app is actually to search for places in the Maps app first, then click the arrow above the red ballon placemark. From there you can either get directions within the Maps app or go to the Navigation app.
